VECS method is based on using of a special electric source. A usual source is an electric line with both ends earthed. We suggest using the set of such lines ( up to 8 ) placed in a radial manner and symmetrical in regards to a central point (Pic 1 ).

Such source (a circle electric dipole – CED) “winds” secondary currents into a toroidal system ( pic 2 ).

At doing such sounding on the surface we don’t have a magnetic field-response, if the explored area has a normal horizontal-layered structure. A response appears and gets registered in case of some disturbance at presence of local object, i.e. oil deposit.
In pic.1 you can see a scheme of VECS method. Take into consideration that the size (radius) of the source can be measured by kilometers and the square of explored area by hundreds of sq.m at the depth of exploration up to a few kilometers. The process of square signal registration includes operation measuring of magnetic and electric responses done by a few groups of operators using different types of vehicles, helicopters inclusive.
The usage of VECS method creates a new situation in electric exploration work. Wide and dense square exploration with a fixed powerful source, free from background summary field, gives an opportunity to follow delicate lateral changes in conductivity in geological cutting.
But the most significance of VECS method lies in a different sphere. Have taken a background away as a smoked glass, we can find out some new geo-electric effects which are unknown in traditional methods or only supposed in using them. The most significant is to generate the signal in a halo of migrating carbohydrates above oil deposits.
